The “ATL Has Something to Say HBCU All-Stars Challenge” is a premier event in Black college basketball, highlighting exceptional HBCU players and coaches. The week-long festivities include competitive basketball games, a college admissions fair, financial empowerment sessions, a Social Justice Panel, and a series of community outreach activities. These events aim to showcase athletic talent, academic contributions, and cultural heritage of the Black community.
This event is designed to celebrate the rich history and ongoing contributions of HBCUs in shaping the landscape of higher education and sports. It seeks to empower students and athletes, promote HBCUs and their academic offerings, foster community engagement, and spotlight the cultural wealth of Atlanta as a hub of Black history and excellence.
Attendees can participate by purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster for specific games, including the standout Howard University vs. Tennessee State University matchup at the GSU Convocation Center. Additional events are accessible on campus at Clark Atlanta University, with tickets available via Ticket Return.
