The ATL Has Something to Say HBCU All-Stars Challenge will be in the heart of Atlanta and played on the beautiful campus of Georgia State University Convocation Center in Atlanta on Wednesday, November 13 starting at 7 p.m., EST, and Saturday, November 16, with two games, Tuskegee University vs. Fayetteville State starting at 3 p.m., and Clark Atlanta vs. Shaw University starting at 5:00 pm EST Atlanta, a true sports town, basketball hotbed, and diverse city, is among the best places to live, work, and make a difference in communities and the world. Atlanta is home to some of the most distinguished and exclusive HBCUs, celebrities, ambassadors, influencers, alumni, faculty, staff, boosters, key stake-holders, business, civic, and government leaders, parks and recreation organizations, high schools, colleges, universities, loyal fans, and supporters.  There’s no place like ATL’s culture, music, art, entertainment, radio, television stations and personalities, and professional sports teams, and rich history.

The “ATL Has Something to Say HBCU All-Stars Challenge” is a premier event in Black college basketball, highlighting exceptional HBCU players and coaches. The week-long festivities include competitive basketball games, a college admissions fair, financial empowerment sessions, a Social Justice Panel, and a series of community outreach activities. These events aim to showcase athletic talent, academic contributions, and cultural heritage of the Black community.

It seeks to empower students and athletes, promote HBCUs and their academic offerings, foster community engagement, and spotlight the cultural wealth of Atlanta as a hub of Black history and excellence.

This “must-attend” symposium will focus on the power of HBCU sports to educate and inspire college coaches & student-athletes and promote engagement in social justice and civil rights issues. We will engage local leaders in the community and national leaders across the country in great dialogue.

We believe in the HBCU college experience and invite youth groups, students, and families interested in learning more about college life to attend this FREE event. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about HBCUs across the country and ask important questions to get them ready for the transition from high school to college.

Our Financial Literacy will be a key component of the HBCU Experience that aims to provide great exposure, insight and financial expertise to local high school and HBCU students, & student-athletes in attendance.
